We’re always on the lookout for motivated and experienced Joinery Installers based in the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast regions. Delivering superior fitouts across commercial spaces, we are dedicated to safe work practices and continuous development. This is a site-based role that will include travel. Responsibilities
- Assemble, prepare and install high-end commercial joinery
- Liaise with clients and contractors, inspect and prepare worksites, conduct site measures
- Interpret technical drawings, plans and schedules
- Load, unload and transport ready-made joinery items to site
- Safely operate hand and power tools, plant equipment and machinery
- Identify, investigate and correct arising issues
- Collaborate with team members and management to ensure smooth operations
- Strict compliance with site safety policies, JSAs, JHAs, SOPs, SWMs and WHS procedures
Skills and Experience
- Joinery, Cabinet Maker or Shop Fitter trade qualification or equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience and own reliable tools
- Construction White Card, Driver’s Licence and a clean driving record (last five years)
- Strong communication, time management skills and mathematical aptitude
- Commitment to WHS, safe work practices and zero-harm environments
- Leadership or supervisory experience an advantage
- Ability to work as a team and maintain focus while working autonomously
