Delivery Driver & All-Rounder
Our Delivery Driver & All-Rounder is a key role in the business. As a hands-on and motivated team player, you’ll be responsible for safe and secure deliveries of joinery items and materials to and from site. You’ll also help with general factory duties when needed. There is a physical aspect to this role, and all applicants should be physically fit with the ability to lift up to 20kg safely.
Responsibilities
- Physically load and unload joinery items and materials for transport, pick-up and delivery
- Perform general factory duties within busy manufacturing environment
- Use a variety of hand & power tools, machinery and equipment
- Monitor maintenance and repair needs of tools and vehicles as required
- Follow all company WH&S policies and participate in toolbox meetings, risk assessments and accurate use of PPE
Skills and Experience
- Heavy or Medium Rigid Truck Licence and previous loading experience
- Experience as a general labourer in a manufacturing environment
· Basic ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications - Experience using hand and power tools, including drills, saws and sanders
- Physically fit; able to lift and carry heavy materials and products
- Forklift license is highly regarded
